Set in
the 1920's, "when the sky was alive with daring men in flying machines," Dynamite Scott, Air Ace is a 39-episode adventure serial that chronicles the heroic exploits
of bi-wing airplane pilot Dynamite Scott in his relentless pursuit of his elusive nemesis, the fiendish
archvillain Dr. Knuckles. Dynamite is aided in his never-ending quest for justice by his faithful assistant

At the conclusion of each dramatic episode, Dynamite and his brave companions find themselves trapped in yet another life-threatening situation from which there is seemingly no escape, with the announcer raising the question, "Could this be the work of archvillain Dr. Knuckles?!?", and exhorting viewers to “Tune in again next week for another exciting adventure … on ... ‘Dynamite Scott, Air Ace!’“
